The purpose of Mas la Sala Cooperative is to participate in the systemic abundance of the environment in which it develops. In this sense, the agroecological system is one of the core areas where the passion, professionalism and regenerative potential of living ecosystems will be reflected in the pastures,
food gardens and forests of which we are part, following natural cycles and rhythm.
To achieve this purpose, the Cooperative is working on the transition from a conventional
to a regenerative agricultural system, thus enriching the agroecological transition of our environment.
Specifically, we manage a food garden, a livestock operation with sheep, cows, pigs, bees and poultry, and the farm’s natural woodland.
Mas La Sala is a non-profit community land use cooperative. We are located in Sant Pau de Segúries, in Ripollès, and we work for the regeneration of ecosystems, resilience and cooperation.
The Mas La Sala Cooperative was set up in May 2020 after three years of training as a team and analyzing and designing the project. The six members who are part of it live and work at Mas La Sala.
The pillars of the cooperative are agriculture, livestock, forest management, environmental education, rural tourism accommodation, restauration, intercooperation, fine arts and culture.
